15 of Our Favorite Creative Designs Made in Concepts in 2025
Sketching highlights by the Concepts community in 2025
Thank you for being a part of our creative community and sharing your work with us throughout the year. Whether you shared it through email, Instagram, or Discord, we are grateful to be a part of your creative process and are continuously in awe of your drive and tenacity to create.
This last year, we saw an array of talent from our community and have curated some of our favorites (and yours!) to look back on.
1. Jerry Hill @landshaperstudio
In February, 2025 Jerry created and released an Object Pack to help raise funds for the Fulford family as they navigate expenses related to their son Taze, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
Jerry shares, “Charles Fulford, Taze’s father, was not only a professor of mine but has also become a dear friend. His guidance played a significant role in shaping my journey, allowing me to share my passion for drawing and design with all of you today. Thankfully, Taze finished chemo in June and the last scans came back clear!
The Object Pack is back up now, but is no longer part of any fundraiser. In total, we raised over $1k in those few weeks. The profit helped out with travel expenses to and from the hospital, the next state over.”
2. Felipe Francisco @felipemfrancisco
Beautiful facade graphic by Felipe Francisco, architect and technical design leader of the facades division @studionyl
“We constantly seek innovative ways to translate complex facade concepts into easily digestible graphics. Concepts has been a game-changer, removing the constraints of digital drafting and fostering creativity that feels as natural as sketching by hand.”
4. Stan Q. Zhang @stan.q.zhang
Stan's latest cityscape work of Venice, Italy. He uses delicate lines and shadows with enormous amounts of detail to render the unique textures of different cities.
4. Smooth Yoo @smooth_livescape
Smooth combines landscape and architecture in an innovative and sustainable manner to design spaces for future cities. With a passion for creating harmonious interactions with nature, he integrates principles of biophilic design and Iot technology to craft spaces that contribute to a sustainable future.
5. Jesús Noriega @jesusnoriegaleon
Watch the design process unfold as Jesús Noriega, architect and CEO of Nogarq, crafts spaces that tell the stories of successful brands.
6. Teoh Yi Chie @parkablogs / parka81 on Discord
Teoh’s lovely sketch features the St Joseph's Church in Singapore, after renovations have been completed and the scaffolding removed.
“I was on the 7th floor of the building across the street and had a good view of the church. There were no seats, so I had to stand and sketch for almost an hour. Thankfully, the tablet I was using was light enough to be handheld for the duration of the sketch.
I love sketching with Concepts because I can switch between drawing and colouring, and the layers switch automatically because of the Automatic layer mode. This allows me to work extremely fast, as I often would miss out some details in the scene, and have to go back to colour again, draw, and colour again, and I don't even need to switch layers myself.”
7. Adam Vassau @outdoorchillzones
Landscape designer, Adam, visualizes a space and its unlimited potential. His designs incorporate lush planted beds, winding retaining walls and varying hardscape material.
8. Triple A Design @triple__a_design / Project Designed by @thejes_wini, @arulalan & @vr__she
TAD blends sustainability practices, timeless materials and modern design to create a breathtaking space.
Oxygen Forest is a 160-acre luxury farmland community in Kamareddy, Telangana, offering 120 exclusive 1-acre units. Designed for conscious living, Blending functionality with serene luxury, it offers wellness-focused amenities like a meditation centre, trekking trails, organic farming, clubhouse, sports arenas, and more — all promoting a lifestyle rooted in nature and future-forward sustainability.
9. Frédéric Louis @atelierfredericlouis
This stunning sketch of a mansion restoration project by architect Frédéric Louis is the first step in bringing the vision to life.
10. Çağrı Kaan Çetin @c.k.cetin
Navigating Istanbul's evolving urban landscape, this architectural layout study by Çağrı, proposes a housing complex designed to fit a uniquely narrow urban plot.
The project explores innovative solutions for density and livability in the city's expanding periphery.
“While zoning regulations pushed for maximum allowable density, the urban context demanded an inward-facing and breathable configuration. Varying the heights and characters of the blocks helped create a more open and livable environment, anchored by a sunken pool garden as the heart of the communal life.”
11. Ruth Treacher @ruth_treacher_garden_design
Ruth created this fabulous organic flowing garden design for a client located in Brixton. The site is a south-facing garden and features naturalistic island beds, curved paths and multiple seating nooks to fully soak in the space.
12. John Le @johnledraws / johnlemd on Discord
A beautiful, creative journey and work in progress of a book cover design for the Springson Museum, dedicated to the legacy of Rachel Carson. The Project is aiming to be constructed starting 2027.
“I used Concepts to add more hand-drawn feel to a computer rendering that was initially laid out in Affinity Publisher, then used Affinity Publisher to composite the image elements from Concepts.
It’s been quite a rewarding artistic journey / fun technical challenge using Concepts in this workflow to create a book cover.”
13. Lorenz Tribucio @larch.law_ph / lorenz20200 on Discord
Lorenz captured the feeling of walking under the dappled shade of trees in his landscape sketch created for a school project.
14. Gus Becker @gusbusdraws / gusbusdraws on Discord
Gus created a zine as a way to present dense material in a lighter and playful way by adding cartoons and real-world examples to make it more accessible to people.
“Concepts was a very helpful tool in making this come together, as the vector nature of the software allowed us to easily try out different versions, including different layouts and colors. We plan on creating a second zine this year and Concepts will definitely be a core part of the process for this new one as well!”
15. K @_.ng.k_ / _.ng.k_ on Discord
This was a fun piece to watch come to life! K shared his full process with the community throughout the year on our Discord server.
Heaven and Earth Serpent was inspired by K’s love and admiration for Japanese-style art. The process began as a sketch in Concepts, laser-engraved as a creative exercise and post-processed with a patina finish on solid brass.
Check out the full process of creating this piece.
