How to SetupYour Concepts Team

We’re excited that you’ve chosen to use Concepts for Business with your team. On this page you’ll find a step-by-step guide to setting up your team and inviting your teammates to Concepts.

The whole process of creating your team is only six steps - around 7 minutes - so let’s jump in and get started!

First, you'll need to create an account or sign in here.

What You’ll Need To Create Your Team

All you’ll need to create your team is a valid payment method and the work email addresses of the teammates that you’d like to add to your team. Keep in mind that you can always add and remove teammates at any time, so it is okay if you don’t have every single email you’ll need today.

Step One: Enter Your Team Info

In your admin dashboard you will see the option to Create a New Team. Click here to begin the team creation process.

You’ll be prompted to name your team - we'd suggest using the name of your company, upload your team’s icon (optional) and choose your team’s primary use of Concepts. This last one helps us make sure that your team will receive the right learning resources and overall Concepts experience.

Once you’re done, click Continue to move on to the next step.

Step Two: Choose A Plan

You can choose from two different plans: Monthly or Yearly. Both plans include a 30-day free trial to start*.

The Monthly plan is $10.00/month** per license. This is great for teams who are just testing Concepts out or have fluctuating needs such as frequent license additions or removals.

The Yearly plan is $100/year** per license. This plan is perfect for companies who know Concepts is right for them and are ready to commit to a year and save $20** per license while they are at it!

After choosing your plan, click “Continue” to move on to the next step.

*If you’d like to skip the trial and pay for your plan immediately, simply check “Start billing immediately - skip free trial” before continuing on to the next step.

** Price will be shown in your local currency.

Step Three: Add Licenses

Each teammate who will be using Concepts will require their own license. On this screen you will be able to select the number of licenses that you would like to start with.

On the right side of the screen is a handy calculator that will tell you the total bill that you will be charged depending on the number of licenses that you add. You can return to your dashboard to manage the number of licenses at any time.

Once you have added the number of licenses that you need, click “Continue”

Step Four: Invite Your Teammates

Choosing Your License

You’ll be asked if you need your own license. If you are an admin or team manager - and won't be using Concepts yourself - then we won’t charge you for a license. However, if you’ll be working in Concepts with your team, be sure to select “Yes, I need a license” before clicking continue. Again, you can update your role at any time from the team dashboard.

After you finish selecting your role, click “Continue” to move on to invite your teammates.

Inviting Teammates

You can now invite your teammates. Enter all of the email addresses separated by a comma - or enter them one at a time - and click “Invite.

As you add them, you will see their email addresses pop up on the table along with their Role. You can click on their Role to choose whether each user is an Admin, User, or Admin + User.

  • Admins will be able to manage the team, but won’t have access to Concepts.
  • Users will have access to Concepts, but can’t manage the team.
  • Admin + Users can both access Concepts and manage the team.

Each team member that you invite will receive an email asking them to accept your invitation and create their account, giving them access to Concepts Pro.

Once you’ve finished adding your teammates, simply click “Continue” to move onto the final step.

Step Five: Review and Checkout

You now have the chance to review your plan, number of licenses, and team name before you check out. Remember that you can update your information, plan type and team members (as well as their roles) at any time.

Step Six: Managing Your Team

After completing checkout, you will be directed to your team dashboard. From here you can manage your team, assign roles to your teammates, check on their invitation status, and the last time they used Concepts.

This dashboard is how you will manage your team and teammates from here on. You can easily add or remove teammates, change your plan type, sort and export your teammates to a CSV file, and manage your licenses.

You can resend team invites by selecting the three dots beneath "Actions" and selecting "Resend Team Invite" from the dropdown menu. This will immediately send that teammate a new invitation. You can also resend invites to all pending teammates via the “Resend Invites” button.

Once a teammate accepts their invite, you will see their status change from “Pending Accept” to “Active”. When a team member becomes “Active” they will consume one of your available licenses. You can see how many licenses you have available right beneath "Manage Teammates."

Need to add more licenses? Simply click "Manage Licenses" and choose how many you need.

Congratulations, you have successfully created your first Concepts team. Each of your teammates will now have access to every advanced tool and feature that Concepts has to offer!

We recommend sharing some of our learning resources with those teammates who are new to Concepts:
