Roadmap for Windows

In this release, we focused on enhancing the overall performance and stability of Concepts. Various issues and bugs have been addressed, and we’ve continued laying the groundwork for upcoming features.

• Projects are now called Folders
• Create multiple levels of subfolders (nesting)
• Added grouping options within folders
• Manual sorting has been removed to adhere to filesystem rules (drawings can be directly managed in Explorer or other file management apps)
• Added a Recently Deleted section where you can recover work you might have accidentally lost.
• Align to Grid has been reworked and now supports tracing backwards on your stroke

More shortcuts to make the keyboard experience even better.

• Add and move through layers, access all shape guides and lots more with new keyboard shortcuts. See and configure them through the Interaction tab in Settings.
• Fixed a crash with copy/paste across multiple layers.
• Fixed menus closing with ESC.

• When zooming, scaling or rotating something, you can now use the arrow keys to adjust values
• Added a toggle to turn off keyboard shortcuts altogether, if you prefer
• Fixed an issue where keyboard shortcuts stopped working when switching between apps
• Fixed an issue where layer thumbnails turned blank after toggling visibility

The keyboard shortcuts we added last release are now fully editable.

• Improve your workflow by setting your own personal keyboard shortcuts. You can find them in the Settings menu under Interactions.
• Menus have been moved and reorganized to be less obstructive and keep you better in flow. More to come.

Concepts is now easier to use with a mouse + keyboard or a Wacom tablet.

• Use keyboard shortcuts for Pan (space), Zoom (S) and Rotate (R) to quickly navigate your canvas and work with selections and shape guides.
• Set Zoom & Rotation tools in your tool wheel.
• Snap-while-drawing is easier than ever – if you make a mistake, just retrace your steps. Measured lines are more accurate, too.
• Bug fixes and improvements to measurement.

Draw with real-world scale and measurements.

• Choose your Units and Scale in Settings, then toggle Measure in the Precision menu to begin.
• See live measurements as you draw freehand or with guides. Tap to save labels or tap+hold to edit them.
• Edit length, width, height and area of active selections in the Measurement menu. Auto-conversion included!
• Add a splash of color with our free vector watercolor brush.

• Two brand new color wheels! HSL & RGB color sliders give unlimited control throughout the spectrum. Tap the active color and choose either one to get started.

• Add short labels to your drawing with the Text tool, found in the Tools section of the Brush Menu. Just tap on the canvas to add a new label. While it's selected, change the color with the color wheel or use transforms to skew into perspective.

• Distort, skew and warp your selections with the four corner handles. Pull one or two handles to adjust the aspect ratio, or tap one or two handles and pinch / spread / pull to activate the more advanced transforms.
• Tap through the Interests list in your Account screen to help us better understand your needs.
